RE-ENGINEERED STRUCTURES

A self-written brief, revolves around the combination of disciplines – print meets embroidery. With visual research concentrating on block shapes and patterned forms which show my distinct style and taste.

SAMPLING

Exploring the grouping of fabrics, ranging from Cotton to Leatherette. Using assorted print methods to apply design and colour to these surfaces. Taking each sample to the next stage by bonding and stitching – showing how a fabric can be re-engineered to suit various applications.

VISUAL APPLICATION

Digitally designing shapes suitable for the modern woman, and applying unconventional fabrics to these new sportswear shapes. Keeping the outcome contemporary with a new edge twist.
